James Shepherd is the Development Director at the Cambridge Studio of Sony Computer Games, England. In this investigation of the ideas that surround the development of HD, making virtual images in the games domain is heavy on processor use and also the labor that produces the images and taxes the minds and attitudes of those that design them.
