A number of artists precede your involvement. The individual ordering comes by chance with the main principle being that the nationality of the artist before you (and after you) be different from your own. This is an attempt to make a truly global piece of art. We're seeking to have all seven continents represented by the time we complete the project. (A single piece could be a collaboration of two or more artists providing they share the same nationality).
You will have to do nothing other than create a piece of art in response to what precedes yours. Please view the piece directly before your own and I would encourage you to view all preceding pieces as we are making an entirely collaborative work - a symphonc piece of art. There should be between 30 and 50 artworks eventually. As the pieces are completed and sent to me I shall post them at a private address which I will give you - or, if necessary I will manufacture DVD's for viewing.
Any video format can be used to make your piece as I can cross-process any format. The aspect ratio should be 16:9. You can originate on HD if you wish. If you have a choice use 1920 x 1080 Pro Res 4:2:2 25 fps and the leat you should use is PAL 720 x 576. Duration for your work should be between 30 seconds and 4 minutes. Please do not include titles or credits as we will unify and include these later. Please deliver to me on Data DVD, single or dual layer DVD or Blu-ray Initially we will be making a 90 minute standard Bly Ray DVD unless specific collectors request another format.
