blink will eventually lead to the publication of a book. It's form will twofold: the first will be textural work on the issues arising from the production of collaborative art in the digital age. (There are many issues that will arise through this production: documentation and digital aesthetics, the will to produce work, the authentic and the reproduced, language and thought, the medium and the message to name a few). There are many other propositions around notions of meaning and significance within the digital imaging and other representations of the world and these will come into focus over time). I shall soon be inviting various academics to begin this work. The second will be an exploration within the printed form of those same issues - the book will contain artworks. Follow the link for some some articles to start the documentation of developing theory off - I offer my own in humility (and some humour) as have the other contributors in a spirit of developing the debate.
