HIGH DEFINITION
- I first came across the European 1250 line HD system in 1992
but I've been involved in shooting various 1080 High Definition Projects
since 2000.
- Since September 2007 I have been the AHRC Creative Research Fellow in HD Imaging at Bristol University

- WORKING WITH INIGO JONES December
2004 and I technically directed and shot, a 4 x Panasonic
HD 60fps Varicam 720 multi camera shoot for
High Definition DVD - one of the first of its kind worldwide (25p). This
production was shot in candlelight which I'd pioneered the use of for The
Soldiers Tunic. The Varicam rates at around 800 - 1000 ASA, so I chose
this format (in relation to its final compression ratios for HD DVD) as
being the optimum format for this project.
