Charlotte Humpston is an artist, an Art Director for Film, TV and Theatre and a Teacher. She co-founded Red Shift, a seminal theatre group in 1980 and has won many fringe firsts at the Edinburgh Festival. Germaine Greer said of her design for Shakespeare's Timon of Athens "This is the best designed show I've ever seen". Charlotte's work has been seen all over the British Isles as well as internationally. She began painting in 1990 and now works as a small works installations artist. "The World" was seen at the 2004 Glastonbury Festival and the 2004 Somerset Art Week at the Phoenix project. Her new work "The Cupboards" can be seen at the Ashley Court Hotel in May 2005.
